According to a new study published online ahead of print in the Journal of Clinical Oncology, electroacupuncture may be more effective and safer than gabapentin for managing hot flashes among breast cancer survivors. Even though more studies need to be done, it’s an exciting start to see that the safer electroacupuncture treatment can be considered effective instead of relying on prescription drugs.
